Hello, my name is Stephanie Lecker and I am Mama to two beautiful and compassionate little boys, a super cuddly Pomeranian Chihuahua and
Wife to a super thoughtful and generous man.
My journeys through labor and birth have brought
me love and pain, joy and loss.
Our first son was complicated, and his delivery was rough, we felt like we were prepared and knew what to expect…boy were we wrong! About a year later we were surprised with a second pregnancy, but this little baby was not meant to be. After these two challenging experiences I was determined for the next time to be different. Our second son’s pregnancy, labor and delivery were night and day different from his brother. My husband and I were determined
to practice the techniques and methods we needed to give us the birth
that we had always wanted and because of that I had such a redemptive birth!
These experiences and my education from Birth Boot Camp,
showed me what I have known for a long time (since 2012),
I am called to work with women!
I want to provide you with unbiased evidence-based guidance to help you feel comfortable making your own choices during pregnancy, birth and as a parent. This isn't about sticking it to "the man". This is about knowing your body and knowing what's happening so you are educated and confident during such an imprtant time in your life.
I respect ALL birthing preferences and want you to feel prepared when you start labor.
I am passionate about birth and would love to share my passion with you.
Photographing a woman in labor is one of my life's greatest joys!
Not only do I get to witness something so beautiful, but it is THE MOST real thing you will ever do, feel or experience! What I mean is that birth is transformative! I want to give you Your Birth Story, yours, just yours. Not your friend's or mother's or sister-in-law's birth story...YOURS. The moments in birth when mom thinks she can't do it and dad is holding her hand telling her that she CAN AND WILL are amazing to me! Not to mention the CUTEST LITTLE BABY you get to keep at the end of all that hard work! (gotta love them baby toes!)
I want to document your birth because it brings me pure joy!
"Even if it has not been your habit throughout your life so far, I recommend that you learn to think positively about your body."
